    RegalCare at Norwichtown is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team! This role is essential in helping maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.

    Responsibilities:

    Assist with general repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the facility

     

    Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner

     

    Help maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

     

    Perform routine inspections of equipment and safety systems

     

    Ensure outdoor grounds are safe and well-kept (snow removal, lawn care, etc.)

     

    Work closely with the Maintenance Director and other departments

    Requirements:

    Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus)

     

    Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems

     

    Ability to use hand and power tools safely

     

    Good communication and problem-solving skills

     

    Reliable, organized, and a team player
