Meriter Hospital is a not-for-profit, 448-bed community hospital providing a wide-ranging scope of medical and surgical services.

The Director of Perinatal Services provides leadership and direction for all components of inpatient obstetrical and neonatal services within Meriter–UnityPoint Health. Responsibilities include partnering with the Executive Director of the Meriter/UW Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) in strategic planning and program development. The Director is accountable for all aspects of daily operations, fiscal management, quality management and regulatory compliance, along with clinical service delivery across inpatient services. The Director also provides input regarding information system and technology selection and implementation. The specific inpatient units and programs include Birthing Center, Family Care Center, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Newborn Nursery, Perinatal Administration, and Lactation Services.

Qualifications Include:

~Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

~Master’s Degree—Nursing, Maternal Child Health, MBA, MHA or equivalent

~Prior experience as nurse manager

~5-7 years progressive experience in leadership of perinatal services

~State of WI Nursing License

~Excellent working knowledge of perinatal services
