    RESPONSIBILITIES

    I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manages the day-to-day administration, management, coordination and integration of services, programs, and activities of all diagnostic imaging, including the hospital and physician office building.

    • Ensures programs, services and activities support strategic plans, and the goals and objectives of The Queen’s Medical Center - West Oahu (QMC – West Oahu).

    • Ensures operations and functions are in compliance with regulatory requirements and the policies and procedures of QMC – West Oahu.

    • Collaborates and coordinates functions, services and operations to ensure alignment with Imaging Services at The Queen’s Medical Center (QMC).

    II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    A. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Seeing. Hearing. Speaking. Finger dexterity.

    B. MANUAL MATERIAL HANDLING:

    • Infrequent: N/A

    • Occasional: Lift waist to shoulder between 6-10 lbs. Carry between 6-10 lbs. Push and Pull between 0-5 lbs.

    C. NON-MANUAL MATERIAL HANDLING:

    • Infrequent: N/A

    • Occasional: Stoop/Bend. Twist. Squat. Climb: Stairs/Ladder. Reach: above head.

    • Frequent: Stand. Walk. Reach: shoulder level. Gripping.

    • Constant: Sit.

    III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.

    IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    A. EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business or related field preferred.

    B. CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:

    • Current Hawaii State license as a Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medical Technologist; or current certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in Abdomen and OB/GYN sonography; or current certification as a Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA); or current certification in MRI by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).

    • Current BLS certification.

    C. EXPERIENCE:

    • Five (5) years clinical experience in imaging modalities, preferably in a comparable facility.

    • Two (2) years supervisory/leadership experience (e.g. responsibilities for major project(s).
