    Shipping &Receiving Lead

    Position Overview

    Position Overview:

    POSITION OBJECTIVE: To effectively assist the shift supervisor in all areas of his/her responsibility and to provide temporary supervision in the absence of the regular shift supervisor.

    Essential Duties

    1. Responsible for shipping finished goods to our customers on a timely basis.

    2. Responsible for receiving the necessary raw material to keep equipment running.

    3. Keeping trailers at plant to ship finished goods.

    4. Responsible for getting waste material shipped out.

    5. Post necessary information into Fibers System and G-Link (YWIP, YSUM, YIPT, YIPR, etc).

    6. Check parts out of supply room when necessary.

    7. Complete daily assigned trailer trips.

    8. Must be able to work other shifts when needed.

    Non-Essential Duties

    1. Assist other plant personnel as needed.

    2. Keep well-organized and clean environment.

    3. Work with other departments as required.

    4. Perform various duties and tasks as assigned by the Department Manager or Supervisor.

    Other Requirements:

    1. Must be able to read, write and speak English

    2. Must be proficient on computers

    3. Data entry skills required

    4.Training requirements: To obtain the knowledge necessary for the safe and efficient performance of job

     

    Requirements.

     

    1. Must complete the Orientation training session.

    2. Must complete job requirements training.

    3. Must be able to operate a lift truck with no restrictions.

    4. Lockout Tagout Procedures

    5. Must qualify on the job through training program.

    Work Shift

    12 Hr rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Act Calendar, shift starts AM, days change only
