    Job Description:

    1st Shift - Out Bound

    Position Summary:

    Ace has added 3.6 million new customers and is experiencing tremendous growth, very exciting for all of us. Our growth has enabled us to create a new role: dedicated, full-time, Training and Process Leads (also known as Training Specialists) across the network by department. This role and the role of “Support Trainers” replaces the current training infrastructure in each center.

     

    Our people are our strength and in order to match our customer growth, we must innovate the way we train new hires. This new role will manage a newly created training path for New Hires and existing Team Members.

     

    Training and Process Leads will lead the training function in each center’s department, reporting to the Operations Manager, partnering closely with Supervisors, and receiving guidance from the Manager of Training, Onboarding, and Culture. The Retail Support Training and Process Lead works with the Retail Support Manager of Training, Onboarding & Culture, Operations Managers, Supervisors and Warehouse Specialists.

    Job Requirements:

    + Manage learning resources, equipment and materials effectively to deliver high impact training, onboarding, and process coaching experiences to new and veteran employees

    + In conjunction with Management, facilitate training & onboarding of permanent and temporary employees, communicate policies and procedures to new and veteran employees as needed

    + Own assigned area training content and documentation; creates/updates accurate and useful information on job tasks, SOPs and training aids/visuals

    + Evaluate the effectiveness of training activities in relation to business goals and frequently report on progress

    + Support the Operational Team in the implementation of change based on continuous improvement activities

    + Provide support, guidance and auditing for Associates and Support Trainers

    + Actively seek, clarify and understand information from Operations and the Frontline that leads to an understanding and ownership of RSC performance and goals

    + Constantly improves the long-term capabilities of the area to which he/she is assigned.

    Skills Required:

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook

    + Experience using computers to develop materials, presentations and use of email and knowledge of internet/intranet

    + Training knowledge and/or experience

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Able to give and receive feedback effectively

    + Result orientated and pro-active attitude with a strong sense of conviction

    + Meets time commitments and deadlines, or negotiates accordingly

    + Models the W.E.L.I.G.H.T. Values

    + High School diploma or GED
