The Systems Engineering (SE) Directorate is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon, responsible for defining customer needs, functional and product architecture, requirements definition and decomposition, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), system performance, and System Security Engineering (SSE).
The Land Warfare and Missile Defense Systems (LWMDS) department oversees all aspects of Systems Engineering that drive the development of complex systems to support various Raytheon programs around the world. The LWMDS department supports Raytheon by cultivating a world-class group of systems thinkers who work together as a team to architect technical solutions to some of the world’s toughest problems. Key technical domains include Radar Systems and Sensor Netting, Effector Systems, Battle Management, Command and Control, Communications, Network Design, Battlespace Integration, and Interoperability for Domestic and International customers.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
+ Partner with Program Management Office (PMO), Product Area Leads (PALs), Integrated Project Team Leads (IPTs), and Cross Product Team Leads (CPT) for scope planning, report preparation, monthly financial and manpower deliverables, and annual planning requirements ensuring adherence to Legal and Government Accounting requirements.
+ Compile, analyze, and direct changes to financial data to ensure the plan, forecast, time charging and manpower reporting is accurate and aligned with technical plans.
+ Investigate and resolve discrepancies found between data sources.
+ Conduct earned value data analysis, present findings to PMO, and partner with engineering team on corrective actions as needed
+ Collaborate with Planning, Finance, Supply Chain, and Engineering Leads to assist in executing the process to procure equipment, materials, parts, etc.
+ Utilize CORE process to drive continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.
+ Ensure full compliance with external communications with relevant IP and export requirements
+ This position will require occasional travel at approximately 10%
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
+ Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
+ Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Value:
+ Experience in project management and knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
+ EVMS Certification required within 6 months of start date
+ Experience in managing small projects or processes within area of responsibility.
+ Experience with MS Project
+ Experience collaborating with a geographically distributed team

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
