    Job Summary

    + Schedule: Full-time (40 hours). Flex schedule depending on assignment for the day . Schedule will be known in advance. Preop is 5:30A-2P, PACU can be either 8:00A-4:30P or 0830A-5P, five 8 hour shifts Monday-Friday.

    + Department: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)/ Preop.

    + Location: Medical Park Hospital- 1950 South Hawthorne Road, Winston- Salem, North Carolina

    + Unit Info: Patients recovering from a range of different procedures. Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

    Qualifications

    + Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.

    + Experience:

    + One year preferred.

    + One year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.

    + Licensure/Certification:

    + Completion of NAI program, required.

    + Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.

    + Medication Safety - AME, required.

    + NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.

    + Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation
