• Global Billing Ops Analyst - Hybrid

    Citigroup (Tampa, FL)


    This position supports the EMEA / NAM Custody billing processing functions. The person in this role will have direct operational responsibilities for invoice production, accounting, reconciliation and investigations related to the multiple billing markets including the review of key client invoices. This role also inludes client queries, investigations, metrics reporting, testing tasks, and assist in leading the team for escalations, process improvements, and risk mitigation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Invoice production/review for key clients

    • Respond to requests in a timely manner

    • Effectively communicate with team members, management, business partners and clients

    • Develop and document procedures and processes

    • Analyze reoccurring issues and assist in developing process improvements

    • Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases

    • Process payment and accounting entries

    • The ability to work within tight deadlines

    • Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies

    • Comply with Citi policies

    •Contribute to change initiatives that improve control and efficiency

    • Provide backup coverage for team members

    Qualifications:

    •Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field or years equivalent to work experience

    •Desire to develop expertise in the securities industry and billing functions

    •Investigation and reconciliation ability

    •Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    •Excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills

    •Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and clients

    •Advanced PC skills including MS Excel, MS Access, and SharePoint

    •Proven aptitude to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

    •Trustworthy with confidential information

    $62,620.00 - $87,380.00
