_The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule_ **_YEAR-ROUND_** _._

Your Responsibilities

As a **Part Time Student** for **JD Waterloo Works - Foundry Division** located in **Waterloo, IA** , you will:

+ Learn how to identify, analyze and apply information to support issue resolution.

+ Develop tools to aid in data analysis and collection.

+ Participate in developmental assignments to gain experience.

+ Perform activities according to project plans and schedule.

This position is not available to students on immigration visas.

What Skills You Need

+ Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Data Analytics or Actuary/Statistics; others may apply.

+ Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited college/university.

+ Graduation date of May 2027 or later.

+ Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.

+ Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly.

+ Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly.

+ Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment

What Makes You Standout

+ Understanding of various functions within a cast iron foundry.

+ Background in quality and process controls.

+ Familiar with PowerBi and data analysis software.

+ Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
