    Job Description

    **DUTIES:** Acts as an internal consultant for cross-functional programs across the organization, providing guidance on Billing, Payment, Accounting and Reporting practices. Defines reporting requirements and writes SQL reports for our global OnStar Finance, Accounting, and Tax organizations across numerous operations and reporting systems. Drives and supports Month-End deliverables, such as report distributions and reconciliations. Configures and maintains automated reporting systems (e.g. Cognos, PowerBI). Designs and implements controls/monitors to quickly identify system defects and operational performance concerns. Uses various techniques and software (SQL, Excel, etc.) to triage, quantify, and reconcile system and customer experience issues. Supports ad-hoc and special project analysis, as needed, such as new business development data or tax/compliance audit reports. Manages the planning, execution, and communication of User Acceptance Testing for the call center, accounting, tax, and finance stakeholders. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office.

    **REQUIREMENTS:** Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or related field of study and 2 years of experience as a Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, Financial Analyst, or related role. Two years of experience with: SQL Querying and Report authoring experience; Performing data discovery, predictive modeling, simulation, and statistical analysis; Zuora Cloud Billing; Interpreting and forecasting data, translating metrics and business impact to Finance leaders; Ad-hoc analysis and executive leadership reporting; Cognos; Developing, deploying, and monitoring performance of large analytic data sets, consisting of millions of records and more than one thousand attributes; Analyzing and interpreting transactional activity and impact to financial reporting in SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP); Creating and executing Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) related to the data correctness on interfaced operational and financial data between multiple systems; and Identifying, quantifying, communicating, and resolving technical issues with appropriate business and IT stakeholders.
