**Objective of Position** :
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative functions for the Legal Department. This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, use analytical capabilities, sound judgement, and superior customer service to all clients (both internal & external). The ideal candidate will possess structure, attention to detail, quality focus, high energy and flexibility to a high-paced deadline driven organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Provides administrative functions for the Legal Department.
+ Creates and maintains files for the department.
+ Supports creation and organization of files relating to Board of Directors and other functions.
+ Supports creation and organization of documents and files relating to governance matters.
+ Reviews documents to ensure the information is accurate and complete.
+ Schedules and organizes meetings, travel, conferences and department activities.
+ Responds to and follow ups on calls, emails and other inquiries.
+ Prepares routine and non-routine reports and presentations.
+ May require the need to be available for support before and after hours.
+ All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ 5+ years of experience as an administrative assistant.
+ Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals across all levels of an organization.
+ Advance level experience of core Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams).
+ Demonstrated ability to think strategically and prioritize leaders’ calendar based on rapidly shifting priorities.
+ Positive self-starter with proactive approach, excellent time management and prioritization skills.
+ Strong calendar management skills, including coordination of complex executive meetings.
+ Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and execute with a high level of confidentiality, and integrity.
+ Exceptional organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail capabilities.
+ Expert level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, succinctly, and effectively.
+ Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
+ Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
+ Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.
+ Adaptable to various competing demands and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response.
+ Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
**PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT** :
Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office equipment. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices.

This role allows for a combination of remote and in-office work, with occasional visits to the office based on business needs. The hourly rate for this position is $25.00 to $30.76. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Byline Bank offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
