***This position is required to work on-site at the St Paul Andersen Building** *
This position exists to supervise document management operations and employees who manage, track, store and direct Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP) and Insurance Affordability Programs (IAP) client documents. Incumbents are responsible to maintain a strong knowledge of current document management functions and understand the needs and requirements of stakeholders.
The incumbent is also responsible to:
+ Supervise, coordinate, and provide leadership to the unit and direct reports.
+ Ensure the knowledge and skills of direct reports and the unit meet department, administration, division, and section needs and mission, vision, goals, and priorities.
+ Oversee the day-to-day operations of the unit.
+ In coordination with the section and division leadership team, develop, and implement strategies, plans, and performance measures to ensure that the unit, section, and division efforts and products align with department, administration, division, and section mission, goals, and priorities.
Minimum Qualifications
One year experience working in document management operations.
AND
One year experience working in a lead position/leadership role
Experience must demonstrate:
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and SharePoint
Preferred Qualifications
+ Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
+ Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with a variety of people in various contexts.
+ Creatively problem-solve and recommend best practice solutions to meet business needs.
+ Experience with Department of Human Services data and data systems such as FileNet and Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
+ Knowledge of the provisions of Minnesota Government Data Practices and Federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) laws.
+ Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
