    Siena College Public Safety Officers ensure the safety and security of the Siena College Community by providing professional supportive services to students, employees and visitors. Duties include (but not limited to):

     

    + Campus patrol by vehicle, bicycle and foot

    + Ensure compliance with: college rules, traffic rules & laws and ordinances

    + Physical security checks

    + Access control

    + Motorist assistance

    + Computer aided dispatch and CCTV monitoring

    + Report writing

    + Community outreach and training

     

    Shift Schedule: Shift schedule is flexible and may include nights and weekends.

     

    Salary: $18.13/hour

     

    The hiring salary above represent the College's good faith estimate at the time of posting in compliance with the Albany County Salary Transparency Law

    Job Requirements:

    + High School diploma or GED: Some college preferred

    + Must have a clean NYS Driver's License and must maintain the license throughout the duration of employment

    + NYS Security Guard License or ability to obtain one

    + Security, Military or Law Enforcement background a plus

    + A background screening will be required.
