The Impact You'll Make

The Production Planner for the Van Wert, OH plant is responsible for the scheduling of production orders for the Van Wert plant as well as all follow up and maintenance of production orders and materials. The Production Planner will operate daily out of the Van Wert, OH facility and report to the Supply Chain Manager. Relocation and work authorization support for this role will not be provided.

What You’ll Be Doing

+ Daily scheduling of production orders for assigned work centers.

+ Works directly with the operations team to achieve the work cell’s cycle time, delivery and cost goals.

+ Monitor exception message reporting for expediting/de-expediting of orders.

+ Monitor capacity evaluation and work with operations team to adjust as needed.

+ Monitor past due orders and follow up and/or expedite

+ Monitor and help resolve production order errors.

+ Completes new part setup process when needed.

+ Provide timely responses to customer service and Order Fulfillment Representative questions.

What We're Looking For

+ Bachelor’s degree or 4 years related manufacturing experience

+ Possess strong communication skills

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, Access, Power BI, etc)

+ Possess a strong attention to detai

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Masters degree

+ Manufacturing planning experience

+ SAP experience
