Description
We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our Enterprise Print team. This small but highly specialized group manages the full spectrum of enterprise print solutions across the organization, including thermal/label printers, barcode printers, laser printers, multifunction devices, and more. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week in the office location at 2201 Henderson Mill Road, Atlanta, GA 30345.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Design, implement, and support enterprise print solutions and infrastructure.
+ Administer print systems such as PrinterLogic, PaperCut, LRS, or similar platforms.
+ Configure and manage enterprise print queues, including backend and frontend workflows.
+ Maintain and support print architecture, including load balancing, high availability, and redundancy strategies.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve complex print issues across a diverse set of printer types.
+ Collaborate with teams supporting Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) systems to ensure reliable printing for clinical workflows.
+ Participate in capacity planning, system upgrades, and migrations of print infrastructure.
+ Develop and maintain documentation for print environments and processes.
+ Includes after-hours maintenance and on-call rotations to support critical tier1 systems.
Critical Skills:
+ Proven experience with enterprise print management systems (e.g., PrinterLogic, PaperCut, LRS, or comparable).
+ Strong understanding of enterprise print architecture, including concepts like load balancers, failover, and redundancy.
+ Hands-on experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting print queues in a large enterprise environment.
+ Familiarity with backend and frontend print processes, including driver management and output workflows.
+ Working knowledge of printing requirements within Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) systems or similar clinical environments.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Healthcare IT experience strongly preferred.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related discipline and three years Infrastructure server administration experience OR seven years of Infrastructure server administration experience.
