    Job Summary and Qualifications

    •​The Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.​​​

    •Manages nursing practice and unit operations. Monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures to ensure patient and family needs are assessed and met.

    •Provides leadership in attaining and sustaining an unparalleled patient experience. Instills accountability for providing consistent, positive patient interactions that differentiate the organization as a healthcare leader.

    What qualifications you will need:

    + (APRN) Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or (RN) Registered Nurse

    + Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma

    + Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

    + Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

    + Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

     

    HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is a 221-bed acute care hospital. We serve the communities of Seminole and West Volusia County. At HCA Healthcare, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life. We are a Level II Trauma Center. We provide the only full-service cardiovascular program. Our program offers open-heart surgery and interventional cardiology. Electrophysiology, cardiac rehabilitation, and comprehensive diagnostic services are also offered by this program. Other services that we provide include orthopedic and spine care, as well as robotic surgery. We offer acute inpatient medical rehabilitation and complete imaging services.
