    Overview:

    Provides data and report development support for M&T Bank's Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) program. Reviews community development loans, investments and data to ensure compliance with CRA requirements.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    + Research, draft, and edit qualitative narratives for CRA performance evaluations, highlighting community development loans, investments, and services.

    + Collaborate with CRA officers, community development teams, and business line partners to gather data, success stories, and program outcomes to support internal and external reporting.

    + Supports the implementation of CRA program initiatives, including but not limited to preparing for and participating in community listening sessions, coordinating with line of business partners, and communicating results.

    + Under supervision of leadership, provide information to be included in presentations and written materials that will be used to convey the results of CRA outcomes to business line leaders, senior management and various committees.

    + Generate ad-hoc reports for regional reporting and backup CRA monitoring.

    + Support CRA public file updates, Rules on the Wall (internal disclosure document for branches) updates.

    + Provides support for the implementation of data tracking dashboard for the department.

    + Document and maintain data process procedures to serve as reference; adhere to established controls to ensure data quality. Assist in the audit process by maintaining and providing complete and precise documentation and controls evidence.

    + Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.

    + Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.

    + Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

    + Complete other related duties as assigned.

    Scope of Responsibilities:

    This position spends the majority of the time communicating and coordinating with internal entities.

    Supervisory/ Managerial Responsibilities:

    Not Applicable.

    Education and Experience Required:

    Associate’s degree plus a minimum of 3 years’ professional work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined 5 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 3 years’ professional work experience.

     

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Education and Experience Preferred:

    Bachelor’s degree.

    Physical Requirements:

    M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $60,890.34 - $101,483.90 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
