WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Global Senior Assortment Planner to establish clear end to end bottom’s up merchandise plans, these product plans and forecasts should be grounded in the Athlete* and their needs. When developing these forecasts, you’ll partner with Merchandising, Merchandise Financial Planning, and Geography Planning on assortment plans, spanning across multiple future seasons. Experience in planning against key retail KPI's (Retail Sales, Margin, Inventory, Full Price Realization and Average Retail Discount) are critical to this role's success. This role will create future rolling forecast plans incorporating historical and current marketplace retail KPI’s and translating that to future franchise plans ensuring holistic franchise management and overall marketplace health.
You Bring:
+ Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
+ 4+ years of experience in Planning/Buying/Sales with emphasis on retail/wholesale financial planning and analysis, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
+ Leverage statistical forecasting, data science and new ways of working to develop plans and drive better decisions pre and in-season
+ Demonstrated experience in assortment planning and understanding of financial, product and inventory planning
+ Strong ability to influence and ability to design compelling communication grounded in data
+ Ability to think critically and understand the potential of a style in the marketplace as well as quantify any gaps to financial plans from a bottoms up perspective
+ Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills by developing accurate plans that optimize trade-offs and outcomes
+ Current understanding of consumer and marketplace trend
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
+ Develop multi season plans and monthly forecasts inclusive of sales, margin and inventory at the Franchise, Family and style level (leveraging analytics), develop strategies to meet Consumer Field of Play financial goals and own franchise open to buy forecasts by Geo to inform future product line plans, manufacturing decisions, and drive Nike strategy
+ Partner with key stakeholders across Geo and Global to optimize business health throughout the entirety of the product life cycle (Franchise Management)
+ Recap and analyze the business against monthly and seasonal forecast expectations, identify variances, share risks and opportunities to our financials goals and adjust plans accordingly
+ Support monthly and seasonal inventory planning and management activities
