    Title:** **Technical Trainer (telecom/data center)

    SUMMARY

    Theincumbent works with a growing team of trainers and Subject Matter Experts withina corporate university team environment and is responsible fordelivering training, developing training plans, and partnering withInstructional Designers to create and update training materials.The ideal candidate will be a confident publicspeaker who is self-driven to stay up to date on the latest tools and bestpractices for employee training and performance.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Develop and coordinate training schedules

    + Assess training needs

    + Conduct employee surveys and interviews

    + Consult with other trainers, managers and leadership

    + Track and compile collected data

    + Support the conceptualization and development of training materials

    + Communicate training needs and online resources as appropriate

    + Create training strategies, initiatives, and materials

    + Review, test, and provide feedback on training materials

    + Provide accurate and timely training reports

    + Facilitate employee training and onboarding using approved materials

    + Document employee performance and outcomes of training

    + Coordinate and monitor enrollment, schedules, costs, and equipment

    + Travel as needed

    + Maintain training facilities including daily cleaning and setup

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    + Must have 5-7 years field industry experience of installation of structured cabling – preferably fiber.

    + Telecommunication Industry Certifications, preferable BICSI.

    + Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

    + Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management

    + Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions

    + Professional appearance and demeanor

     

    CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a

     

    candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Technical Trainer

     

    position is $85,000 annually [or $40.87 per hour] and the maximum salary for the position is $100,000 annually [or $48.08 per hour]. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.

     

    Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit

     

    program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health

     

    insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
