    Maintenance Technician (Level 2)

     

    Pay: $21.00/hour

     

    Schedule: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm ( Monday through Friday)

     

    Type: Contract to Hire (30–60 days, with potential for permanent placement)

     

    Start Date: ASAP ( pending all new hire requirements have been met.)

    Position Overview

    We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Level 2 Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and improvement of our residential community. This hands-on role involves a mix of general maintenance, light plumbing and electrical work, groundskeeping, and unit turnover tasks. If you’re a reliable, tech-savvy problem solver who enjoys working outdoors and making a visible impact, we’d love to hear from you.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Plumbing: Replace faucets/toilets, diagnose and repair leaks, operate sewer augers.

    + Electrical: Replace outlets and light fixtures, understand GFCIs, breakers, and basic wiring.

    + Grounds & Curb Appeal: Mow lawns, weed, plant flowers, pick up trash, and maintain overall property appearance.

    + Unit Turnovers: Perform clean-outs and light rehab work to prepare units for new residents.

    + Work Orders: Complete maintenance requests efficiently and independently.

    + Safety & Inventory: Follow safety protocols and conduct regular inventory checks.

    + Technology Use: Participate in virtual training sessions and use tablets/computers for work orders and communication.

    Requirements

    + 2–3 years of general labor experience (e.g., landscaping, property maintenance)

    + 1–2 years of basic residential plumbing experience

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions

    + Basic technology skills and a valid driver’s license

    Maintenance skills will be tested for accuracy

    + Must have Plumbing experience - Must know how to use a overflow relief gully.

    + Background check and Drug Screen
