    Wells Fargo’s Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) team is an integrated, forward-looking product organization with end-to-end payments, data, liquidity and associated lending solutions that enable our clients to achieve their business objectives in an evolving digital world.

     

    As our GPL team moves forward with our Payments transformation, we are building out a marketing function and operating model to drive incremental sales growth.

     

    This leader will be responsible for developing and driving strategy for the Global Payments & Liquidity (GPL) business Sponsorship and Events portfolio. This position will collaborate with key stakeholders across the enterprise to evaluate the existing portfolios, execute go-to-market plans, and establish the vision and measurement framework for future events and sponsorship opportunities. Additionally, this role will drive the measurement and learning agenda across the portfolio; using data driven insights to measure impact on upper funnel brand metrics (awareness, trust, favorability), improve return on investment and support go forward decisions for a best-in-class sponsorship portfolio.

    In this role, you will:

    + Provide vision and set direction for development and execution of GPL’s events and sponsorships strategies.

    + Drive business results through partners to maximize results and facilitate sales opportunities to achieve long term strategic objectives with broad impact.

    + Define the GPL events & sponsorships strategy that will drive a competitive advantage with relevance and differentiation for Wells Fargo in the marketplace; provide strategic, long term, risk compliant solutions to the most complex business challenges.

    + Contribute to development and execution of business strategy, providing information and recommendations to executive leaders.

    + Create experiences that resonate with target audiences based on deep understanding of customer/client behavior.

    + Analyze and synthesize data and consumer insights to measure performance and optimize strategies.

    Required Qualifications

    + 8+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms, Social Media Marketing, Strategy, or Senior Business Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

    + 4+ years of Management experience

    Desired Qualifications

    + Proven track record of success in delivering high quality work in a fast paced, dynamic and matrixed environment, preferably in financial services with knowledge of payments.

    + Experience in developing and executing strategies that drive market share, revenue and customer loyalty and aligning brand initiatives with business goals

    + Strong track record of leading and developing high-performing teams

    + Proven experience developing and leading strategic discussions and influencing to generate decisions and actions.

    + Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs.

    + Enthusiasm and strong relationship building skills; ability to collaborate and influence across lines of business at multiple levels

    + Proven track record managing vendors and agency partners

    + Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage wide range of audiences.

    + Self-motivation and be energetic and forward thinking, possessing integrity and high ethical standards.

    Job Expectations:

    + Hybrid in-office requirements 3 days a week

     

    Pay Range

     

    Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

     

    $159,000.00 - $305,000.00
