About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to join the Treasury Transformation Office (TTO) within Corporate Treasury. In this role, you’ll provide reporting and analytical support to the Global Funding (GF) and Multi-Currency Treasury Americas (MCTA) execution teams, part of the Global Funding & Collateral Management (GFCM) group. Reporting to the GF & MCTA Reporting & Analytics Lead, you’ll dive deep into big data, create impactful business intelligence tools, and build a strong understanding of bank funding, capital, liquidity metrics, and various lines of business.
In this role, you will:
+ Develop in-depth knowledge of Global Funding & MCTA portfolio reporting; responsible for complex analytics, report development, and automation initiatives
+ Monitor and evaluate global market conditions, funding requirements, asset and liability management, liquidity risk management, capital management, financial performance management, capital, and related activities
+ Ensure accurate recurring deliverables are completed and compliant with various treasury risk management policies and/or regulatory requirements
+ Provide overall advisory on treasury finance and risk strategies
+ Ensure data quality and establish controlled processes
+ Lead targeted automation projects while guiding other teammates, in coordination with technology partners
+ Collaborate with Internal Audit, Corporate Risk Management and Model Governance teams as well as outside parties including regulatory agencies and accounting and consulting firms
+ Make recommendations to more experienced group members and management
+ Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:
+ 4+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented accuracy; reporting/analytics at major financial institution preferred
+ Experience analyzing financial data relating to bank funding and liquidity, foreign exchange hedging, and other treasury finance concepts
+ Deep understanding of SQL, and experience with Dremio, HIVE or other database management applications; big data experience preferred
+ Proven experience with Tableau, Power BI or other business intelligence and reporting tools to analyze financial data and support strategic decision-making
+ Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
+ Effectively present/explain complex analysis to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership
+ Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects or large-scale individual projects, demonstrating strong leadership and strategic thinking
+ Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other businesses and functional areas to accomplish business goals
+ A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Economics
