Description We are looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team on a Contract basis in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. This role involves supporting financial operations through tasks such as bookkeeping, invoice processing, and managing reconciliations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable handling various accounting responsibilities with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, including tracking financial transactions and reconciling accounts.

• Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.

• Perform bank reconciliations to maintain up-to-date financial records.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions with accuracy.

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.

• Utilize QuickBooks and Excel to organize and analyze financial data.

• Generate billing statements and ensure proper documentation of transactions.

• Collaborate with the Controller to support financial reporting and compliance.

• Adapt to a dynamic work environment where priorities may shift daily. Requirements • Proficiency in QuickBooks, including Enterprise versions.

• Strong skills in Excel, such as creating pivot tables, managing spreadsheets, and using basic formulas.

• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger tasks.

• Ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately and efficiently.

• Familiarity with preparing journal entries and maintaining financial records.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Previous experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role.
