As an Accountant Your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conduct audits of client billing to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies.

• Assist with billing adjustments and collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including data entry, reconciliations, and reporting.

• Maintain accurate and updated financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite.

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including time entry reviews and expense processing.

• Prepare and record journal entries to support the general ledger.

• Perform research and assist with ad-hoc accounting projects to validate financial data.

• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to address financial discrepancies.

• Generate financial summaries and reports for internal stakeholders.

• Provide administrative assistance to the accounting and finance team.

Requirements

The ideal Accountant candidate will have:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; candidates currently pursuing a degree are welcome.

• Up to 2 years of relevant accounting experience, including internships.

• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software is preferred.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a proactive approach.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general accounting entries.
