    Description

    Robert Half Legal is partnering with a property management/commercial real estate company, seeking a contracts administrator with real estate experience. This company manages over 3 million square feet of properties around Southern California.

     

    This contracts administrator should have a background in real estate or property management. Please do not apply without a strong familiarity with commercial leases (reviewing/redlining, not drafting/negotiating).

    Daily duties include:

    o Assist property managers with lease preparation: filling out forms from templates, manages schedules, and entering data for renewals and mailings associated with leases

    o Manage lease files and property files

    o Work closely with property managers generating reports about property

    o Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail

     

    The company is very family-oriented and stable; many employees have been there 20, 30, or 40 years! This role offers a month of cross-training with the current contracts administrator (someone RHL placed over a year ago who is getting promoted!).

    Requirements

    o Someone who enjoys working in the real estate/property management space

    o Someone well versed with commercial leases

    o Someone who is calm under pressure and can deal with multiple priorities

    o Someone organized who is a self-starter, doesn’t sit around waiting to be told what to do

    o Someone who understands quarterly goals and cycles (responsibilities are similar month over month, year over year – cyclical)

    o Someone who is fine with administrative work; this role does not offer much room for growth

    o Someone who wants to be at a company long-term, not see this as a stepping stone to something better

    o Someone who is decent with numbers and high attention to detail

    o Someone congenial who likes working as a member of a team

    *** Ability to commute to Irvine daily (no remote work).
