Description

Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a skilled Financial Data Analyst to join one of our health care clients on an interim basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in analyzing financial data, validating payment accruals, and supporting compliance efforts to ensure organizational accuracy and efficiency. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to process improvements within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review and validate monthly physician payment accruals to ensure compliance with contractual terms and performance expectations.

• Conduct detailed investigations into variances between actuals and accruals, providing actionable recommendations for corrective measures.

• Partner with Finance and Provider Relations teams to assess upcoming contract adjustments that may influence accrual calculations.

• Design and enhance templates and models to standardize accrual calculations across multiple business units.

• Prepare supporting documentation and detailed explanations for audits and compliance reviews related to financial accruals.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement changes that reinforce the organization's control environment.

• Create high-level summaries for executives, highlighting risks, trends, and areas for process optimization.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure financial reporting is accurate and aligned with organizational goals.

Requirements • Proven experience in financial analysis and data interpretation, preferably in a healthcare or corporate setting.

• Strong proficiency in financial reporting tools and systems, including the Bloomberg Terminal.

• Ability to analyze financial markets and translate complex data into actionable insights.

• Advanced skills in data analysis, including the ability to identify trends and variances.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating executive-level summaries and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with compliance standards and audit preparation in relation to financial data.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reporting and documentation.
