Key Responsibilities:
+ Financial Oversight: Oversee the accounting team and manage daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger activities.
+ Month-End Close: Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
+ Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop, monitor, and report on company budgets and forecasts.
+ Compliance & Auditing: Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements; prepare for internal and external audits.
+ Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiencies and streamline processes.

Requirements
+ Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
+ Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Experience in the construction industry is highly preferred.
+ Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and strong Excel skills required.
+ Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
+ Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a focus on identifying and resolving issues.
