    We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role involves providing exceptional service to support a large patient base while ensuring accurate documentation and handling inquiries related to eligibility and authorizations. The position is remote and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare sector!

     

    Must have Medicaid, health insurance and call center experience!

    Responsibilities:

    • Respond to inbound calls and address inquiries regarding eligibility and authorizations with professionalism and accuracy.

    • Provide support to healthcare delivery organizations, ensuring the needs of over 275,000 patients are met.

    • Maintain precise documentation of interactions and resolutions in internal systems.

    • Utilize your knowledge of Medicaid and commercial insurance to assist callers effectively.

    • Collaborate with team members during the training period to gain a comprehensive understanding of processes and systems.

    • Ensure consistent attendance and reliability as part of a smaller, close-knit team.

    • Handle data entry and email correspondence to support healthcare operations.

    • Schedule appointments and perform order entry tasks as required.

    • Navigate Microsoft Excel and Word to complete administrative functions efficiently.

    • Adhere to internal guidelines and protocols during audits related to Medicare and Medicaid.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in a call center or customer service role, ideally within the healthcare industry.

    • Strong familiarity with Medicaid and commercial insurance, with an emphasis on understanding the differences between programs.

    • Ability to document information accurately and maintain attention to detail.

    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Word for administrative tasks.

    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for handling inquiries and email correspondence.

    • Reliable internet connection and computer setup to support remote work.

    • Capacity to adapt quickly during a two-week training period with side-by-side guidance.

    • Strong commitment to attendance and teamwork in a smaller team environment.
