Description We are looking for a meticulous and tech-savvy Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in supporting the accounts payable team by ensuring accurate and efficient data entry processes. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who thrive in detail-oriented roles and have strong computer skills.

Responsibilities:

• Input and update numerical and text-based data into organizational systems with accuracy.

• Verify the integrity and completeness of entered data to maintain high-quality records.

• Collaborate with the accounts payable team to support daily operations and meet deadlines.

• Utilize software tools and systems to perform efficient data entry tasks.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies in data entries to ensure consistency.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with company policies.

• Perform routine audits of entered data to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.

• Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed to support team objectives.

• Stay up-to-date with system updates and tools to improve data entry efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in data entry roles or similar positions.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling data.

• Proficiency with computer systems and data entry software.

• Strong typing skills with a focus on speed and precision.

• Ability to identify and resolve errors in data entry processes.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.

• Familiarity with accounts payable operations is a plus.

• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
