• Sr. IT Technician

    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Sr. IT Technician to join our team in Everett, Washington. This hands-on role requires expertise in managing networking systems, Windows Server environments, and ensuring smooth operations across hardware, software, and mobile devices. As part of our team, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing IT infrastructure while ensuring high-quality communication and documentation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Configure and maintain firewalls, including SonicWall systems, to ensure network security.

    • Manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching environments and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

    • Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy for both on-premises and cloud-synced environments.

    • Provide support for desktops, mobile devices, and other hardware and software systems.

    • Monitor and resolve network issues across LAN and WAN setups to maintain operational efficiency.

    • Utilize tools such as InTune to manage mobile devices, including a fleet of 300 iPads.

    • Document processes and solutions using IT Glue for clear and effective communication.

    • Handle ticketing and workflow management through ConnectWise to ensure timely resolution of IT requests.

    • Implement and support VoIP and wireless network systems to enhance communication and connectivity.

    • Assist in managing Microsoft Office 365 environments and provide training if needed.

    Requirements

    Must haves:

    + 5-10+ years of experience ideally

    + Ability to do Firewall configurations, familiarity with Layer 2 & Layer 3 switching

    + LAN/WAN, VoIP, Wireless networks (They use SonicWall Firewalls & Ubiquiti switches - open to other brands)

    + Windows Server, Microsoft O365, AD (in house and sync to the cloud), Hyper-V

    + Desktops, Hardware, Software, Network issues, Mobile devices

    + They use InTune for MDM - 300 I-pads

    + ConnectWise Ticketing System

    Nice to haves:

    + Strong O365 experience (can train on this)

    + Experience with IT Glue or ConnectWise

    + SonicWall Firewalls or Ubiquiti switches
