Description We are looking for a motivated Customer Service Representative I to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in engaging with customers, resolving inquiries, and supporting logistics operations. This role requires strong decision-making skills and the ability to provide exceptional service while handling complex billing and claims situations.
Responsibilities:
• Engage with customers to initiate interest in residential solar systems and address inquiries regarding solar products and services.
• Educate customers on the benefits of rooftop solar systems, battery storage, and related offerings.
• Qualify leads and guide clients through the initial steps of the solar sales process.
• Respond to and resolve billing inquiries, customer complaints, and service-related issues with professionalism.
• Conduct outbound follow-up calls to warm leads to enhance conversion rates.
• Schedule on-site or virtual consultations, site assessments, and installation appointments.
• Coordinate with field technicians, consultants, and project management teams to ensure smooth customer handoffs.
• Monitor scheduling queues and optimize appointments based on geographic routing and technician availability.
• Provide analytical support and guidance to internal teams within the Customer Service business unit.
• Assist in claims investigations and make decisions regarding service recovery within company guidelines. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, billing inquiries, or public relations.
• Strong decision-making skills with the ability to resolve complex customer issues independently.
• Familiarity with scheduling and logistics coordination processes.
• Knowledge of solar systems, battery storage, or related products is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to analyze and optimize scheduling and operational workflows.
• Experience in claims investigation and risk management.
