    Description

    We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Wilsonville, Oregon. This position has significant potential to grow into a permanent role with the client. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be working with a team that provides shared services for multiple small businesses. Your primary responsibilities will be in the areas of receivables and payables, where you will be handling checks, recording deposits, and processing invoices.

    Responsibilities:

    • Handle receivables by receiving checks from tenants and recording deposits

    • Manage payables by receiving mail and entering invoices

    • Conduct check runs on a weekly basis

    • Utilize QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks desktop for various accounting functions

    • Post payments as part of your daily tasks

    • Perform other billing functions as required

    • Ensure accuracy in all transactions and records

    • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth financial operations.

    Requirements

    • Proficiency in managing a range of accounting functions

    • Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

    • Knowledge in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Competence in posting payments accurately

    • Experience in conducting check runs efficiently

    • Proficiency in using QuickBooks Online
