Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for career growth in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing full-cycle accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in handling high-volume transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice receipt, coding, and payment processing.

• Perform three-way matching to ensure accurate reconciliation of purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents.

• Process high volumes of vendor invoices efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

• Resolve discrepancies with invoices, purchase orders, and payments in a timely manner.

• Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to maintain accurate financial records.

• Assist in auditing processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address payment and invoice issues.

• Support the transition to new accounting systems and software as needed.

• Generate reports and provide insights related to accounts payable activities.

Requirements • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with a preference for SAP knowledge.

• Strong understanding of accounts payable functions, including three-way matching and invoice reconciliation.

• High-level proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Ability to process high volumes of transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

• Excellent communication skills for vendor and team collaboration.

• Detail-oriented and organized, with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with auditing processes and compliance standards in the manufacturing or telecommunications industry.
