Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Westlake Village, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing vendor relationships, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices by accurately coding, reviewing, and entering them into the system while ensuring compliance with general ledger accounts.

• Manage payment schedules and execute payment runs through checks, ACH transfers, or wire transactions to meet vendor terms.

• Maintain and update vendor records, including setting up new accounts, verifying W-9 forms, and addressing inquiries or discrepancies.

• Reconcile accounts payable transactions against bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.

• Handle employee expense reimbursements, ensuring all submissions adhere to company policies.

• Assist with month-end closing activities by preparing accruals, allocations, journal entries, and reconciling the AP sub-ledger.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, such as 1099 reporting, and uphold internal controls during accounts payable processes.

• Identify areas for improvement within accounts payable workflows and propose solutions to enhance efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related financial roles.

• Proficiency in processing invoices, account coding, and managing payment runs.

• Familiarity with ACH transactions, check runs, and wire transfers.

• Experience with Sage 100 or similar accounting software.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

• Ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies effectively.

• Knowledge of compliance requirements, including tax regulations and internal controls.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
