Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Sunrise, Florida. This role is ideal for someone with strong QuickBooks experience and a solid understanding of accounting principles. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with the finance department and contribute to critical reconciliation tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

• Assist in transitioning financial operations to QuickBooks Online.

• Collaborate with the finance team to address discrepancies and optimize processes.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks efficiently.

• Process invoices and maintain accurate records of transactions.

• Enter financial data into the system with precision and attention to detail.

• Support the finance department with additional accounting functions as needed.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Requirements • Proven experience working with QuickBooks, preferably QuickBooks Online.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Proficiency in data entry and invoice processing.

• Familiarity with bank reconciliation procedures.

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a finance team.

• Previous experience in a similar accounting role is preferred.
