Our client, a reputable full service law firm in Oklahoma, is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join their team located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The ideal Attorney candidate will have extensive experience in litigation, with a focus on criminal defense or civil litigation, and a proven ability to deliver strong courtroom advocacy. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with experienced attorneys and build a successful career in a supportive and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in criminal defense and civil litigation cases, ensuring their legal rights are protected.
• Prepare and draft legal motions, briefs, and other documentation required for litigation.
• Conduct thorough discovery processes, including depositions and interrogatories.
• Advocate for clients during court appearances, including hearings, trials, and jury proceedings.
• Engage in voir dire to select impartial juries that align with case strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and provide comprehensive legal services.
• Manage client relationships effectively, addressing their concerns and providing regular updates on case progress.
• Identify opportunities to expand the client base by networking and building detail-oriented relationships.
• Participate in trial preparation, ensuring all evidence and arguments are organized and compelling.
Requirements
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Oklahoma.
• Minimum of three years of experience in litigation, with a focus on criminal defense or civil cases.
• Proven track record of success in the courtroom, including trial and jury experience.
• Strong skills in drafting legal motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
• Highly motivated and capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
