Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-driven Buyer to join our team in North Fort Worth, Texas. This contract to permanent role, is essential to ensuring efficient procurement processes, managing inventory levels, and fostering productive supplier relationships. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to seamless operations and drive cost-effective purchasing strategies to meet the company's project inventory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Issue purchase orders to suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials.

• Monitor inventory levels to align with project demands and operational needs.

• Address inquiries from customers and suppliers regarding order updates, modifications, and cancellations.

• Coordinate delivery schedules and expedite shipments to resolve delays or shortages.

• Verify requisitions for accuracy and compliance with company standards before processing.

• Oversee the progress of purchase orders from initiation to final delivery.

• Confirm and inspect shipments upon arrival to ensure compliance with specifications and order accuracy.

• Compare invoices against purchase orders and quotes to confirm pricing and terms before payment approval.

• Evaluate supplier performance and suggest alternative sources or adjustments as necessary.

• Analyze bids to determine optimal value based on cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

Requirements • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations.

• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities independently.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with purchasing software is advantageous.

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
