    Description

    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to join a dynamic team responsible for managing 5–6 internally developed portals. The team is currently transitioning from on-premise infrastructure to the cloud, making AWS expertise essential. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer with strong experience in Java, Angular, microservices, and AWS serverless services.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Develop and maintain full stack applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular.

    + Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices.

    + Lead development efforts and provide technical guidance to the team.

    + Build and deploy applications using native AWS tools and serverless architecture.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the migration of applications from on-prem to AWS.

    + Ensure secure and scalable application development, with a focus on performance and maintainability.

    + Flex between front-end and back-end development as needed by the business.

    Requirements

    Required Skills & Experience:

    + 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience, including Spring Boot and REST APIs.

    + Strong front-end development skills using Angular.

    + Proven experience with AWS cloud services, especially in building serverless applications.

    + Solid understanding of microservices architecture and API development.

    + Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins or Concourse (preferred but not required).

    + Familiarity with IAM (Identity and Access Management) is highly preferred.

    + Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with shifting priorities.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment strategies.

    + Exposure to security best practices in cloud environments.

    + Prior experience guiding or mentoring development teams.
