Description

Robert Half is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Procurement Consultant for a temporary assignment to lead transformational procurement initiatives and improve daily operations. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by driving change and implementing best practices within a dynamic team.

Job Title: Senior Procurement Consultant (Contract)

Duration: 6+ months

Pay: $40+ hour

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead procurement-focused change management efforts to streamline processes, enhance workflows, and improve operational efficiency.

+ Develop procedural documentation and specifications to improve system configurations, with a focus on procurement systems.

+ Foster collaboration with key stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance, and business teams to align procurement practices with company goals and objectives.

+ Leverage procurement platforms (Workday preferred) to optimize workflows, improve data visibility, and enhance reporting capabilities.

+ Design and execute stakeholder engagement strategies, including training programs and comprehensive communication plans to ensure adoption of new procurement processes.

+ Oversee vendor onboarding, requisition and purchase order processing, and manage contract lifecycle activities, including contract review and negotiation.

+ Identify operational gaps and implement strategic solutions for improved procurement and contract management performance.

+ Provide leadership with regular updates on implementation progress, change readiness, and key performance metrics.

Requirements

Qualifications

+ 7+ years of experience in procurement, change management, transformation, or process improvement roles.

+ Hands-on experience with procurement technologies or ERP systems (Workday experience strongly preferred).

+ Comprehensive understanding of procurement and vendor management processes.

+ Proven track record in leading and driving change management initiatives.

+ Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional leadership and influence stakeholders at all levels.

+ Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.

+ Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and the ability to identify and eliminate inefficiencies.
