Description

We have partnered with a construction firm on their search for a detail-oriented AP Specialist with full cycle accounts payable and bookkeeping experience. The responsibilities for this role will consist of processing vendor invoices, expense reporting, assisting with coding of invoices, post client reimbursable costs, verifying and updating vendor accounts, analyzing accounts payable transactions for accuracy, preparing documents for audits, and resolving accounts payable discrepancies. Ideally, we are seeking an AP Specialist who can perform day to day financial transactions utilizing their knowledge of best practices in accounting and bookkeeping.

How you will make an impact

• Oversee full accounts payable cycle

• Code invoices and match purchases

• Employee expense report processing

• Resolve invoice discrepancies

• Prepare financial reports and statements

• Assist with AP benefits administration activities

• General Ledger processing

• Perform accounting research

Requirements

The ideal AP Specialist will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

Other requirements for the AP Specialist role include and are not limited to:

• 3+ years of AP experience

• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Word)

• Experience with QuickBooks preferred

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
