Sara Walker with Robert Half is looking for a dedicated Tax Preparer to join our detail-oriented services firm in Lake Oswego, Oregon. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately preparing individual and corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual and corporate tax returns, including federal and state filings, using specialized software such as Lacerte.

• Analyze client financial data, including income, deductions, and credits, to ensure the accurate completion of tax documents.

• Stay up-to-date with current tax laws and regulations to maintain compliance in all filings.

• Work with senior team members to address complex tax-related inquiries or challenges.

• Provide clear and effective communication to clients regarding their tax matters and respond promptly to their questions.

• Uphold strict confidentiality standards when handling sensitive client information.

• Contribute to additional tax-related tasks during peak tax seasons or as needed throughout the year.

• Participate in continuous learning opportunities to enhance skills and stay informed about industry best practices.

Requirements • Proven experience in tax preparation, with expertise in both individual and corporate tax returns.

• Proficiency in using Lacerte Tax Software or similar tax preparation tools.

• Solid understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.

• Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
