Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Back Bay in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves managing invoice processing, coding, and payments while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices to ensure accuracy and proper coding.

• Perform check runs and reconcile payment records.

• Manage invoice coding and address discrepancies promptly.

• Maintain detailed records of accounts payable transactions.

• Utilize Deltek or similar systems for efficient invoice processing.

• Monitor office supply levels and coordinate restocking as needed.

• Collaborate with vendors to resolve payment inquiries.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

• Support general administrative tasks related to accounts payable.

• Assist in preparing reports on accounts payable activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and payment handling.

• Familiarity with ERP systems.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to maintain accuracy in processing financial transactions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Excellent communication skills for vendor and team interactions.

• High level of attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
