Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Solon, Ohio. This is a long-term contract position, offering an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization while leveraging your expertise in managing financial transactions. The role combines both in-office and remote work, providing a balanced and flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Process inventory and expense reports using Oracle JD Edwards to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Execute weekly payment runs

• Handle month-end close activities, including journal entries and financial reporting.

• Perform account reconciliations to verify data integrity and resolve discrepancies.

• Complete payments and ensure proper documentation within established timelines.

• Maintain and update the general ledger for accurate financial tracking.

• Match, batch, and code invoices while adhering to company policies.

• Conduct three-way matching processes to validate invoices against purchase orders and receipts.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable operations, including invoice coding and payment processing.

• Proficiency in Oracle JD Edwards or similar financial systems.

• Strong understanding of automated clearing house (ACH) and check runs.

• Ability to manage journal entries and reconcile accounts with attention to detail.

• Familiarity with general ledger maintenance and financial reporting.

• Expertise in three-way matching processes for invoice validation.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
