Description

Robert Half is currently seeking a Loan Processor in the Middlesex County, NJ area. As a Loan Processor, you will be responsible for reviewing loan applications, gathering documents, loan closing, and more. The ideal candidate will also have experience using Encompass. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the collection of essential loan documents, including homeowner information, income verification, and other required paperwork.

• Collaborate closely with clients and branch teams to ensure all closing preparations are accurate and completed on time.

• Schedule closing appointments at branch locations to facilitate seamless transactions.

• Verify the accuracy and compliance of all documentation prior to finalizing loan closings.

• Utilize Encompass software to manage and process loan files efficiently.

• Support post-closing activities, ensuring all necessary follow-ups and documentation are handled appropriately.

• Maintain clear and precise communication with all stakeholders throughout the closing process.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the loan closing cycle.

• Uphold strict adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mortgage closing or loan processing roles.

• Proficiency in using Encompass software for loan management is preferred.

• Strong understanding of mortgage processing and loan origination procedures.

• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with clients and branch teams.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to loan closing.

• Problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues during the closing process.
