Description We are looking for a skilled Tax Preparer to join our team in La Palma, California. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in individual tax return preparation and demonstrate a solid understanding of tax regulations. This role is perfect for professionals with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely results.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual tax returns with precision and compliance with federal and state regulations.

• Review and analyze financial documents to ensure accurate reporting and tax filing.

• Provide guidance to clients on tax-related matters, addressing their concerns and questions.

• Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to ensure adherence to legal standards.

• Utilize tax software, such as Lacerte, to streamline preparation processes and ensure accuracy.

• Identify potential deductions and credits to minimize tax liabilities for clients.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive client information.

• Collaborate with team members to manage workload effectively during peak tax seasons.

• Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to tax filings.

• Ensure timely submission of tax documents to meet deadlines. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation, specifically individual tax returns.

• Proficiency in using Lacerte or similar tax preparation software.

• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple client accounts.

• Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide accurate results.

• High level of attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.

• Certification as a Tax Preparer or equivalent qualification is preferred.
