Description We are looking for a dedicated Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliation, and general ledger management. The role involves working closely with the team to ensure accurate financial reporting and maintaining balance sheets.

Responsibilities:

• Process and post journal entries while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Reconcile general ledger accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Assist with accounts payable functions, including coding and processing invoices.

• Utilize accounting software systems such as Dynamics NAV and Fiserv to manage financial data.

• Conduct account analysis to support financial audits and reporting.

• Collaborate with team members to review and balance account entries.

• Prepare and maintain balance sheets to ensure proper financial documentation.

• Support ongoing accounting transitions and system updates as needed.

• Apply critical thinking to analyze financial data and improve processes.

• Cross-train on reconciliation tasks to enhance team productivity. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience; internships may be considered.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including Dynamics NAV and Fiserv.

• Strong understanding of journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger management.

• Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.

• Critical thinking skills to improve processes and ensure accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Business casual attire is required for the workplace.
