Description We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to oversee IT projects within the energy sector. This long-term contract position is based in Houston, Texas, and requires expertise in Agile methodologies and project management practices. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining high standards of organization and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage IT projects using Agile Scrum methodologies to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

• Utilize Atlassian tools, including Jira, to streamline project tracking and communication.

• Oversee project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project goals with organizational priorities.

• Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders and management.

• Facilitate team meetings and Agile ceremonies to promote collaboration and transparency.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

• Mentor team members in Agile practices and project management methodologies. Requirements • Proven experience in IT project management within the energy or natural resources industry.

• Strong proficiency in Agile Scrum methodologies and practices.

• PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.

• Hands-on experience with Atlassian Jira for project tracking and collaboration.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Familiarity with risk management strategies and tools.
