Description

We are looking for a part-time Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Springfield, Oregon. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to essential accounting processes, ensuring the accuracy of financial data and compliance with organizational standards. The ideal candidate will excel in analytical tasks and bring expertise in accounting systems and reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Conduct bank reconciliations, ensuring timely updates and accuracy.

• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded.

• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close processes.

• Support month-end close activities, including financial reporting and analysis.

• Utilize accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to manage financial data.

• Leverage advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and procedures.

• Assist in the continuous improvement of accounting processes and workflows.

Requirements • Proven experience in account reconciliations and financial analysis.

• Strong knowledge of balance sheet and bank reconciliation processes.

• Proficiency in general ledger management and journal entry preparation.

• Expertise in month-end close procedures and financial reporting.

• Familiarity with accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data manipulation.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
