• Senior Accountant - Hospitality & Real Estate

    Description

    A luxury hospitality and real estate group based in Coronado is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Accountant to lead financial reporting and support multi-entity operations. This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, client-facing environment and has a strong grasp of GAAP, real estate accounting, and hospitality operations. You’ll work closely with leadership to ensure financial accuracy, support budgeting and forecasting, and help drive process improvements across the organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements for multiple entities

    + Manage general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and journal entries

    + Oversee fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and depreciation schedules

    + Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

    + Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals

    + Support internal controls and process improvement initiatives

    + Mentor junior accounting staff and support cross-functional collaboration

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)

    + 5+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on real estate or hospitality

    + Strong understanding of GAAP and multi-entity accounting

    + Proficiency in accounting software (Yardi, NetSuite, or similar)

    + Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling experience

    + Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills

    + Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
