    Description

    A leading manufacturing company in Solana Beach is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to support their growing finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a structured environment, and has a strong understanding of inventory and cost accounting. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, and collaborating with operations to ensure financial data aligns with production activity.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts

    + Assist with inventory tracking, costing, and variance analysis

    + Support month-end and year-end close processes

    + Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries

    + Collaborate with operations and procurement to ensure accurate reporting

    + Assist with audits and internal control documentation

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

    + 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

    + Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar)

    + Strong understanding of GAAP and inventory accounting principles

    + Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
